He is the son of the late James Blackwell, and the late Emma Watkins, the grandson of the late Joseph Blackwell, the great-grandson of the late E. Blackwell, and the late Jane Thomas, the descendant of the late Francis Balcoin, the father of the late John Blackwell, and the paternal grandfather of Cassie Blake, Diana Meade, and John Blackwell's four other unknown children.
Samuel is a member of the Blackwell Family.
