Francis Balcoin was an extremely powerful witch and the first to use Dark Magic. He was also the father of E. Blackwell, the grandfather of Joseph Blackwell, the great-grandfather of James Blackwell, and the ancestor of Samuel Blackwell, John Blackwell, Cassie Blake, Diana Meade, and John Blackwell's four other unknown children.
Francis was a member of the Blackwell Family.
